Our School

Woodinville Family Preschool originated in 1968 as Woodinville Cooperative
Preschool. Since 1982, WFP has been located in our own building (a former
community clubhouse) on 3/4 acre in a residential neighborhood 3 miles north
of downtown Woodinville.
Our cooperative preschool provides a wonderfully unique opportunity for
educators, parents, and children to engage together in an enriching,
developmentally appropriate, and playful environment. When parents are
involved in school, they have the opportunity to develop an unparalleled
parent-child bond, as well as model the value of education to their child.
Research has shown that children whose parents actively participate in their
education are more likely to be successful during their school years.
The benefits for parents are equally important. With the guidance of
highly-qualified educators, parents gain knowledge in child development and
guidance techniques as well as hands-on experience in developing their
parenting skills. Parents also take part in creating and receiving the
support of a warm and nurturing community as they navigate the challenging
journey that is parenting!
